Bio
Eric Lee works primarily in oil in conjunction with a number of experimental techniques involving furniture stain, ashes, concrete, ignited gunpowder, digital components and a variety of papers. Subject matter is derived primarily from the post-industrial cities of the Great Lakes Basin, which serve as models for his interest in the American character and the rise and fall of civilizations. His work has been shown regularly throughout the upper midwest and is in a number of private collections. Eric Lee lives in Eau Claire, WI.
